Good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Period.

The people who were the most satisfied with their relationships at 50 years old were the most healthy at 80 years old.

We’ve learned three big lessons about relationships: 1) social connections are really good for us, 2) it’s the quality of our close relationships that matters, and 3) good relationships protect our brains as much as our bodies.
